Play is one of the most powerful tools we have for building a strong relationship with our dogs. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to turn everyday play into a structured, productive outlet that builds communication, confidence, and trust.
We’ll cover how to use play to create clearer boundaries, help dogs work through big emotions, and develop better impulse control. You’ll also learn how structured play can strengthen engagement and improve your dog’s ability to focus around distractions.
This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with their dog while giving them a healthy and fulfilling outlet for their energy.

Shadow Program
Spend a week working alongside Halle at Heel House K9 and experience what running a real dog training program actually looks like.
This hands-on shadow program is designed for aspiring trainers or dog professionals who want to learn how a working board & train program operates day-to-day. You’ll observe real training sessions, consultations, and daily routines while learning how training, client communication, and operations all work together to create successful outcomes.
Throughout the week, students will participate in discussions, watch demonstrations, and gain hands-on experience working with dogs in training. Topics include behavior modification, structuring board & train programs, client communication, and managing multiple dogs in a professional training environment.
This program focuses not just on training techniques, but also on the real-world skills needed to run a successful dog training business.

• Behavior modification and practical training applications
• Client consultations and communication
• Managing boarding and group play with training dogs
• Daily operations, feeding protocols, and record keeping

All Things Puppy Workshop
Bringing home a new puppy is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when you’re not sure where to start. This workshop is designed to help set both you and your puppy up for long-term success.
We’ll walk through the foundations of raising a confident, well-adjusted puppy, including how to build engagement, introduce structure in the home, and create healthy boundaries early on.
